DC power is supplied by the PCbus requiring no external power supplies. In situations not requiring a PC interface, the BBG-ACP/ARP operates in a “STAND-ALONE” mode. With the addition of an external +5 volt power supply, the onboard processor accepts the ARP and heading information to compute the true and relative azimuth signals without the requirement of a PCbus. Radar signals, reference inputs, and serial outputs are available on a 50 pin male (DB50P) connector.
